the road was surprisingly rough, and if I wasn't desperate I would have tried to back out (no turning around on this narrow road).
I was fine in my ram promaster ext 2wd, but anything with low clearance should absolutely not be on this road.
quiet and lovely one you get here. 2 bars sprint, 4 bars (boosted) att
Report Check-InSomeone came by and said that this was private property and I could not park my van overnight. :(
Report Check-InLovely spot, has a creek, Verizon 2 bars, close to the main road but quiet. Only a few cars passed while light outside. No trash.
Report Check-InThis spot is on the left after less than 1/2 mile on Turnkey Pen Rd. It’s before the Forest Land sign. Room for three cars, beautiful creek right behind. You can ride your mountain bikes to the trailhead from here. No signs, no fence, others have parked here before.
I stayed here last night. Another car with two people pulled up for maybe 30 minutes and played some music, but then left again. No other traffic beyond that.
I filled a trash bag with some trash left behind, not really sure how so much trash ended up here, but it’s clean now. Beautiful spot, right next to the road, so in the morning cars with people going hiking, biking or whatever picked up.
