Easy parking in back lot. No marked RV parking. Parked 38 ft Skoolie no one bothered. 1 other van parked for night. This was the quietest CB we have stayed at. Very little road noise , not close to freeway. Not many Nomad friendly places in Sac. We picked up all trash in backlot. If you stay here please help by leaving cleaner than found. Safe travels.

Report Check-In

Arrived after 10pm, lights are all on, but closed at 7 per Google Maps. Bright lot.
Only one class B in the corner of the lot, and maybe 3 cars all night, not sure if anyone was in them. We pulled out back, seems like it'll work for the night, 25' B+
Garbage trucks at 4:50 AM, and again at 5:20 AM, otherwise mostly quiet.

Report Check-In

Quieter than expected after reading the reviews. The garbage trucks did come in the middle of the night, but it didn't last too long. I slept great.
The issue with this Cracker Barrel is the locals that are treating it like a campground. An older woman came with loud music last night but luckily had it turned off by 9. She is currently sitting outside making her breakfast and chatting with her friends. I will not be surprised if they get this CB closed for overnighting.

Normal Cracker Barrel little odd hours but no issues at all lot was quiet some people yellin overnight but no big deal. Not that large of a lot.

Had a great time here! Stayed on a Friday night and it was very quiet, many level spots, and no garbage trucks or loud workers! Your standard Cracker Barrel

Report Check-In

If you don't have leveling blocks and sleeping at an angle is an issue for you, then this CB is tough. Rear lot pitched a ton for water drainage.

the car in the lot blaring music at 10pm was a nice touch as well. glad to see someone cares about trying to keep the house values down in the area. music guy left around 11pm.

update: the dumpsters get emptied at 4.30am, and they were NOT subtle about it. lasted approx 30 minutes.

at 5.20am, a crew showed up to pressure wash the parking lot. also not subtle.

worst cracker barrel experience ever.

Report Check-In

Well lit parking lot in the back. It's not huge so big rigs might have issues. Stayed multiple nights with no problems. Some road noise and from the apartments behind the restaurant, but quieter than you'd expect.

Report Check-In

Decent little spot close to several stores, restaurants, and gas stations. Shop around for gas if you need it cause they tend to charge 15 cents or more from across the street. Other than that. Decent little quiet spot. Cracker Barrel blocks some road noise. Plus that it’s night time so there’s not too much traffic.

standard cracker barrel in Sacramento. the lot is not huge but can definitely accommodate campers, conversions, or vans. we have a 25 foot skoolie and we're fine. there was also a small camper with a toe vehicle same as us and they fit as well. the food is good and the wait staff was very nice. the lot is a bit noisy as it's close to the road and there were grounds crew that came through around 7am. we called the restaurant before parking to ask if they allow overnight parking and they said yes just make sure to park in the back of the restaurant. it's open 7am to 8pm. good place for one overnight

Report Check-In

I believe that Cracker Barrel allow overnight parking at all of their locations, but best to check first. I spoke with an employee here ahead of time, who indicated that overnight stops are welcome in their parking lot. She told me to park in the back when I arrived here, which I did. The parking lot is big and, on the Tuesday night that I stayed, very few people used the large back parking lot. Only one other vehicle stayed the night. We had the large lot to ourselves. It was fairly quiet, for an urban location. The only exception was that there were some bobtails parked on the property next door, which started up at about 4:30, coaxing me out of my sleep, before driving off.

I have a class B, but there is plenty of room for a few big rigs. I just hope that it doesn't get too popular or, worse still, the privilege abused, so that we end up losing it. Although I didn't ask, I assume that they only want people to stop for a single overnight. It's a nice big clean parking lot. Let's keep it that way!

PS - I wanted to give this informal camping site 5 stars but, for some reason, touching on the stars on my phone doesn't change the rating from the default 2.5 stars.
