Yep. No wind. Lake spots were taken by what I think were local campers enjoying the lake. Surprising amount of traffic on the road. Unsurprising amount of bugs.
Report Check-InArrived with 20-30 m/hr winds, at first I was going to park at springer lake 1000 feet away but found this grassy area with a big cotton wood tree behind the dam which shielded us from much of the wind. No camping on dam. No fire pit, the grass is too high- would not recommend having one here . Very flat area . Leave no trace - Too beautiful
