Description

Good spot away from town. Didn't really like it there, everything is fenced up and the stories on iO didn't make us more comfortable.
It's a nice mirador on the Pacific, big sandy parking (good for any vehicle), two old cannons and a sign about whales with two benches and trash can. We spend two nights there, almost no one during the day (just a few selfie makers in the afternoon) and people coming for sunset between 5 and 7PM. Apart from that, total peace!
A bit windy and no protection. Entel and Movistar low reception. The road is paved all the way to the parking. We found a flat spot on the left side, the best place if you want to be alone as everyone goes to the cannon.

Latest Check-Ins

Very windy and far from the sea, no whales this time of year. From here we drove 2 km down to the little beach at Punta Choros, which is a great spot to swim, look at the birds and seals and just relax. One of the best spots we had on the coast of north Chile.
