Stopped here for the night. Campsite was as described: big and well maintained. There was only one other person there. We looked but there was no where to pay. We heard the train once but it wasn’t that late at night. Beautiful view of the stars.
Report Check-InThis is actually BLM land. But it is $5, 14 day stay limit. Some pretty clean vault toilets, picnic tables, fire pits and water at some of the sites. Only 6 sites but all a huge, well spaced, and relatively flat. Big rig friendly. But if your rig is tall don’t approach from the east as there is a 12 foot train bridge.
Report Check-In$5 bucks a night and really nice sites. Some even have covered patios with concrete pads. Gravel roads in ND are well maintained, at least in summer. Very quiet and just a few miles off Interstate 94. Only one or two bars of reception on AT&T, but Starlink works perfectly. You could pretty easily fit a 40ft RV into any of the sites and multiple smaller rigs.
Report Check-InNice campground, some coverage but not a lot for shade. Very quite and great view of stars. $5 fee has vault toilet, running water, each spot has a pull through area with picnic table, grill, lantern hanger and fire ring. Nice, we came and there were lots of grasshoppers. Lots! Fly’s manageable for this time of month. It was peaceful not as it’s behind a rise so don’t hear the train that’s 2 miles away.
