This block of Trunk Ave has a dirt parking lot on either side. Free, no signs prohibiting overnight parking. Easily walk to all of Deep Ellum.

Decent free parking in the outskirts of downtown. Stayed here one night undisturbed. It was relatively quiet most of the night with occasional police sirens and a few cars coming and going.
Report Check-InSpent a very quiet night here. Some spaces empty out later in the evening, likely due to bar and restaurant patrons. The parking spots are a bit sloped, but nothing too uncomfortable. Would recommend.

There is a little dog park connected to the lot and a bunch of restaurants and bars within a few blocks!
Arrived here at 13:30. There are a lot of cars here but no issue grabbing a spot. Pictures are from the exits on either side looking inward from elm and main.
Report Check-InIt was just as other described. We partied in Deep Ellum bars and slept here on a Saturday night. We arrived at 7:00ish, and got the very last spot. We have a minivan…large vehicles probably wouldn’t work on weekends. It was quiet for an inner-city spot. We slept really well. Cheers!
Report Check-InWe couldn't believe what a find this location was. Great.location within walking distance to bars, shops and restaurants. Parking is still free, and we passed a quiet night after hitting up some bars.
Report Check-Infree parking! amazing location. dog park adjacent. we parked our 26ft skoolie here while we toured Deep Ellum on a Friday night. the parking lot lit does get busy, and loud. we decided we would sleep better somewhere else so we moved for the night.
a stealthy van would probably not draw any attention overnight.
