I’ve stayed at this spot quite a few times over the last few years and this was the first time I’ve got the knock here. Cop came by around midnight and said the park closed and he has to lock the gate and we have to leave. He actually Locked the gate right at the street, not the one by the dirt lot

we checked this site out. it looked good and quiet. we didn't see any people living in the woods. we ended up leaving and staying in the city only because they shut the gates to the marsh at night and we didn't want to be locked in. trail was nice!

Report Check-In

THERE ARE TICKS. Beware if you have dogs. I went for less than a half mile hiking, which it IS beautiful there, and my pup came back with multiple ticks. Needless to say it was heebie-jeebie time picking them off and checking myself and everything afterward.

There are quite a lot of sketchy people coming and going from the trails, looks like they are living out there. Nice place to hike, but we ended up leaving for the night after ticks and tweakers.

we didn't stay here but visited the park during the day and at night. saw a small rig overnighting, super cute area. quiet. make sure to lock your doors though

Report Check-In

It was a good, quiet spot for the night. There's two trailers that seem to be staying there long-term, but it wasn't an issue. Besides them, only one other car stayed the night. I parked outside the gate, but the gate never closed, and there were people driving in and out in the night. The trails were nice to walk the dog in the morning.

Report Check-In

Stayed here expecting to be bothered by tweeckers, I was not disappointed in that matter.
although I stayed outside the yellow gate I notice a lot of people stayed inside the marsh which was way better than the crack pot outside.
Lovely place, dreadful neighbors

Report Check-In

As previously described though some questionable characters were hanging around. At about 9 PM quite a few cars started to show up. Some had to turn around because lot filled up. Nobody bothered me though and I had a good night's sleep. Marsh walk in the morning was interesting. I would recommend staying somewhere else if you have that option.

Spent a quiet night here and got up early to take a walk on the trails and pick blackberries (mid-September). Good Verizon signal. Lot was full until sunset and after dark it was just 3 vehicles. Great place to see wildlife/birds. Trails are dog-friendly on leash.

Report Check-In

This is a good spot. Had mostly good Verizon coverage. Stayed for 3 days and 3 nights. Did not get bothered. Yes there are folks who are either homeless or down on their luck also parking here. Did not feel unsafe, but was cautious and didn’t linger outside after sunset. There are a good number of trails to walk on so that’s really nice as you’re not stuck inside your camper.

Report Check-In

This place is amazing. The trails are dog-friendly and run around a half dozen brackish reclaimed ponds. You want to be good and tucked in by nightfall, though: there are for sure some shady characters lurking.

We spend a night in the parking space before the gate and was really quiet, we have a 20” feet motorhome and we sleep with no problems. Was other Small RV and some cars parked too. Good spot. Be respectful and let the place clean please!

Report Check-In

The road into the marsh leads to a big parking with picnic tables and Porta-potties. Trails and beautiful views. Audubon bird walks Saturday mornings! Great place to spend the day. Please watch for otters crossing the road!

Report Check-In

Didn't end up staying here but seemed legit. No "no" signs and at least one other car already closed up to spend the night.

Report Check-In

this does not feel like a safe place to park. I arrived at 8pm and there was a homeless guy dragging a sleeping bag around and two other dudes smoking in a beat up car. I listen to too much true crime (SSDGM), this place gave me the jeebees.
