Nice spot! in a strip of trees surrounded by desert, plenty of space for several rigs!

multiple forest roads leading to dispersed campsites around shasta. visited late June, very dry/dusty and easy to spin out/get stuck in. roads are narrow so be confident or turn around EARLY. this spot was perfectly fine for my fwd, very low clearance 2013 nissan sentra. there are plenty of opportunities further down the road If you have 4x4 and/or high clearance. if you do get stuck, pinecones under the tires can help. enjoy!
Report Check-InSandy narrow gravel road, not suitable for 2wd or big rig, no place to u-turn
Report Check-InEasy to get to , nice spot! I did hear a train in the night but It was a quick two horn blow. recommend safe stay! LD
Report Check-InAs described. Great view of Shasta and trees. Faint sound of highway but not an issue.
Report Check-InWe stayed here just for the night while passing through after dark. Very close to hwy 97 so there’s some road noise. Easy dirt road. It worked. Sure there’s plenty more places further up road. We saw two vehicles leave in the am, a pickup/camper and a small 2wd RV.
