Something not right?

Description

great area for a night or two, lots of spots to use and not many I see in use right now (end of april) -campfire pits already made, lots of sticks to grab around to burn. feels safe for a single person traveling alone. dog friendly of course, plenty of spots for a hammock, funner trail next to us. stayed close to entrance at first big flat spot. 1 bar at&t, 1 bar t-mobile

Latest Check-Ins

Got the knock just up the road at the little rest stop and was directed here. First left is the perfect spot for big rigs. Was the only one here and parked horizontal and didn't need to level.

Report Check-In

Lots of people at the larger spaces at the entrance but if you follow the road down a bit you will find some small spaces to park - I’m in a cargo van and that fit. I don’t know if I’d take an RV down, it’s a small bumpy dirt road and I only saw small spaces (but I didn’t go super far down). Very quiet and felt very safe. Great if headed to Mt. Bachelor or the Three Sisters area (the road to Three Sisters was closed at this time though). Weak cell service.

I have a small Kia and was able to go through the road. Quite a bit of bees at some of the campsites, we had to move camp at one spot. Really quiet- no fires allowed at this time. Was nice and peaceful and surrounded by trees. There’s a good amount of campsites available and trails right next to the campsites.

Report Check-In

We ended up going further down this road because the spot was taken. There are many established campsites with fire rings. Lots of wood around on the ground for fires! If it didn’t just rain here though we wouldn’t have had a fire because it doesn’t seem like dry this would be a safe place. Kinda a biker attraction so lots of people traffic. But a beautiful woodsy place to get away that’s close to bend. Definitely got colder here at night, but would definitely stay here again when we visit bend.

Please do not burn anything at this spot!! The forest is basically a tinder box… Good to crash but save the s’mores for elsewhere.
