amazing spot for wild camping, with plenty of space for rigs and tents. You can sleep directly on the beach edge and watch beautiful sunrise and sunset, make a fire. It's safe and clean.

Close to Paquera Ferry. Multiple spots to pick from. Functional but not particularly spectacular. Lots of beach debris and we didn't have cell service.

Crowded little beach on weekends - a sign said you can not drive out further - seems nobody really cares
Wondering why is so much trash in the water - anyway nice shade, palmtrees, sand and semi decent water

Nice place, even if there are much prettier beaches and spots on the peninsula. Convenient to take the ferry. As there were a lot of people this Sunday, we parked at the end of the road. Nice sunrise.

wonderful place and restaurant at 200m to left from the beach.... i recommand it 🤩🤩🤩

Decent spot, with some other people camping as well. We parked a bit further up and some locals told us it was better to stay near the other people since 'there always is a possibility for thieves here'. They also said there rarely ever happens anything, so not sure what to think about it. Anyway, we had a good night.

Great place to sleep. It is a beach frequented by locals. A few crabs on the beach so we shifted a bit.

It was awesome, we slept right on the beach, a local came to chat with us and offered us coconut and oysters! And he lives there and offered to help us if we needed anything!
Relatively clean! I’d recommend!

One of our favorite beach in nicoya peninsula !
Arrived late at night after the ferry, the morning view was amazing

We didn't find it too dirty. Most of the trash is hiding in the bushes away from the main beach. In the evening everybody leaves. Mornings are quiet. Swimming is ok.

Report Check-In

The beach, parking lot and the place people described further were really dirty (an awful lot of trash) and there was a burned down car on the end of the beach. We moved on to a place further north

Beach at the end of the road, camping place right in front of the ocean. Toilet and shower 500 col.

Report Check-In

Good option if you are planning to catch the ferry, only about 2kms away from the boat launch. We also drove down the small and very overgrown track to the small clearing down the beach away from the area that the locals frequent. Very buggy but pretty.

Report Check-In

We moved a little further in the dense vegetation and found an opening directly on the beach away from the locals hanging out near the day use area. There seems to be no one except the howlers.

A camp spot right in the beach not far from the ferry in Paquera. Good swimming beach. No facilities. Free.
