Nice big quite beach with several public access spots you can camp at, we chose the north end by the river mouth as it was more remote/private. A little buggy during our stay with a beautiful sunset.

We confirm that the place is beautifull and quiet.
Despite the vegetation and the water in the estuary, we didn't see the slightest mosquito!
On the morning, during our footing on the beach, we saw baby turtles emerging from their eggs and trying to reach the beach despite the scorching sun. We had to help many because of stray dogs and vultures.
This place is absolutely superb between the Pacific, the estuary, the view of the mountains, the coconut trees ... The sunset is incredible. We stopped in the sandy area where there are all the wooden logs. Be careful this place is covered by the sea at high tides, check the tide before settling there.
Report Check-InOpen non shaded place at the very end of the dirt track with magnificent view of the small estuary and the surroundings.
Intermediate cellular reception.
Report Check-InBeautiful remote beach with clear water. We camped one night at the very end, no shade there but good if you have solar panels. Only few people passing by on the beach in the evening at low tide. Some annoying bugs (no seems) at night and in the morning. Police came at 9:45 pm to check, asked what we’re doing here, checked our passports and if we carry weapons or drugs. We said no and they believed us and didn’t check the Van, but maybe because it was raining. They said we should be careful when we camp wild, robberies and killings happen all over the country. But as an overlander you surely know about that, it can happen everywhere. So they left with an handshake.
Oh and you can find huge sand dollars on the beach, as big as your hand!
Report Check-InSmall open patch of ground under trees between river and ocean. Remote and quiet. Lovely spot. Few friendly locals fishing nearby. Turtles on beach.
