Lot of spots along the road that is in very good shape. Just find one you like, level enough !

Spot très tranquille le long d'une route de montagne très peu utilisée en cette saison.

Nice spot to sleep free un Sequoia. Plenty of other spots.

Report Check-In

Pretty nice spot! We struggled to find a really really flat spot to park but it was very roomy and quiet. Very short drive from the highway but still peaceful.

Report Check-In

We were the only campers there, relatively flat so good to put up a tent. Some mosquitoes in the evening , but other than that nothing/nobody bothered us. Overall very good place to stay for a night (or more).

Too snowy to drive very far! The pullout was enough for us though. Not perfectly level, but good enough. Hiked the road a bit. Creek is pretty.

Report Check-In

Snow on roads & impassible at this time. Rangers suggest staying north of Kings Canyon for dry camping.

First site I saw down this road. It’s paved so far and keeps going. Nice site with fire pit and lots of parking. Close to general highway. Not the flattest to park or to have tents on but doable.

super nice free dispersed camping! lots of pull offs along the forest road and it's conveniently located on the section of road between Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon National Park. there is a small creek and waterfall walkable from this campsite, and trout and in the creek! we also walked down to the other campsite on this road that was listed to have a waterfall and explored around there too! very pretty but our 25 ft skoolie would not have fit down the access road, also there was still snow covering part of the road further down from our campsite, so to go further than the first marked spot would likely require 4 wheel drive and a not super tall vehicle. we stayed for 2 nights before heading into sequoia national park. so nice!

30 mns from Lodgepole Visitor Center, Sequoia National Park.
Nice place almost flat among the sequoia up on the hills.
Fire pit, no toilet.
2 or 3 cars can park there.
If full just continue down the Forest Route 14S29 there is a flat parking.
Really quiet as far enough from the Generals Hwy 198

Report Check-In

Road was still blocked by late snow. At the entrance there is a semi flat spot next to the road where we stayed. Very quiet, almost no traffic during the night.

Report Check-In

No winter spot!
Snow blocked was down to the described places, so we parked a road entrance.
No AT&T signal, quiet, nice view!

Report Check-In

Quiet spot and easy to find and access. Uneven terrain. Beware of the bears, we saw one close by. Other sopts down this same road.
