For those who would like to wild camp close to Henties Bay, we found this place to be a good option. Reachable with a 2x4 if you stay on top of the dune. I guess a 4x4 could go down to the beach.
We stayed 2 nights there and had a wonderful sunset.
Place can be windy so sometimes not suitable for roof tent but perfect with a campervan.

Nice place. Really good internet connection. Some fishermen walked by once or twice a day but other than that we were totally alone.
Report Check-InGreat spot. We tucked into the dunes and got away from the wind. Good cell service on MTN. Quiet night, we never saw anybody but were visited by some jackals who stole our shoes. We were able to find them, just a little chewed up.
Report Check-InIt's very beautiful place !
We are overlooking the ocean. it makes a cliff of sand that you can run down or on your buttocks... there is a passage for cars that want to drive on the sand. we arrived there at 2 p.m. and left at 9 a.m. we only saw 2 sinners!
the sound of the waves can be disturbing at night but we recommend 100%
