This is the spot mentioned in the other place. Very nice and lots of dolphins around. More on the right side if you loon on the shore. Note that the path is quite tide. Only bushes though but with very big rigs.... Just to let you know. Needed to squeeze our pickup through. Be aware of the ferry which runs only 4 times a day. 9:00, 12:00, 14:00 and 18:00. Enjoy this remote awesome spot.
Correction: Ferry runs on demand, at least till 7 pm.

Cool spot to visit, but not good for camping. There's a big sign asking you not to drive past the vegetation and not to camp on the beach, so all you'll have left is a small patch of sand at the end of the road. See photo
Report Check-InBeautiful beach, with wildlife and views of the snow-capped volcano Melimoyu. However you're not allowed to camp/ drive onto the beach. So you don't have the views from your car. Nonetheless a good spot to enjoy sunsets on a clear day.
Report Check-InBeautiful and peaceful ! Low clouds and seafog and patches of holes for the sun, only a bit wind.
Dolphins in the sea and if you like to collect wood, make sure a 20“ ft container „is available“.
Report Check-InAbsolutely fantastic place. An entire beach for yourself, snow covered volcano in the distance, dolphins in the sea and magic sunset. You are allowed to drive up to the beach, but not on it (past the vegetation), new signs put up. Narrow access track, but passable if you don‘t mind a few scratches. Boat rides to the Isla Hermanos are worth it to see seals/penguins/dolphins/birdlife and if in the right season (february mostly): whales. Organised by Luis from camping Chengungo ( www.chengungoexpediciones.cl ). Luis is grandchild from the founding fathers of the village, has some interesting stories too.
Report Check-InFerry goes on demand between 9 and 18. You stop there and they will get you.
Report Check-InNice place but be aware it is very easy to get stuck in the sand. Over 6 vehicles, 5 get stuck during the evening. One even had to call a backhoe engine in the middle of the night
4wd absolutely necessary
with bike the Sandy road is possible but in the beach many mosquitoes !!! it was horrible! in the sand it's difficult to put the tent. Big strom during the night!
Report Check-InBeautiful place to stay over night, all the sorroundings are definitely worth driving from Carretera. If you take the left road at every junction, it will take you to the most remote part of the beach. We took boat trip and because the price CLP 80 000 was split among 6 people, we think it was worth paying CLP 15 000. Penguins swimming in the sea, sea lions and birds on the rocks and dolphins swimming around the boat are almost 100% guaranteed, we suppose. The others, like whales or orcas, would be pretty luck. Sand on the beach is absolutely ok for any car with 4high/4low. The ferry on the river is super simple and will take you even if you are the only car. The dirt road from Carretera is nice, with holes near La Junta, but it gets better.
Report Check-InLarge beach with a beautiful view. the path for access is a bit tricky but we went with a normal car. There is dolphins and seals every morning and evening. Wood everywhere on the beach. perfect spot !!
PS: I've lost my tent there (maybe) if you find it you can contact me @ [email protected] or +56998194506.
