Best to camp out the night or morning before you hike up to LeConte Lodge because parking is minimal. Very quite after the late hours when there minimal traffic. The great sound of running water for white noise as well. Zero cell service for miles in and up.

Trailhead lot. A few other overnighters. No issues. Hiked the trail next day.
Report Check-InStayed 1 night with no issues. Other cars were parked overnight for backpacking. Ranger saw us in the morning and didn’t say anything. Parking lot fills up fast in the morning.
Report Check-InStayed the night with no issues. Definitely felt like I had to stealth camp, but no one knocked or said anything.
