Nice spot near the edge of Shasta Lake. Picnic table, fire pit, but unfortunately a lot of trash. Room for car camping, vans or tents. Walk under the power tower then down the hill to get to the site. Good ATT LTE service.

Lovely views of the water. I got used to the road noise. Nobody bothered me but as I was leaving there were quite a few people coming to the site to fish so maybe make sure to leave early in the morning. Be careful coming down the road as there are massive potholes.
Report Check-InReally nice spot with a beautiful view over the lake. Paved road till the end so easy to get there! A couple of other campers, but quiet.
Report Check-InFew flat places. Road and train noise. Hard to get down to the water. Some car traffic and other people.
Report Check-InGorgeous spot, we decided to stay at a pullout with some good room rather than drive down to the water. Nobody bothered us...take note though, the road in is absolutely horrendous, no need for high clearance but don't show up in the dark, just go slow and pick a path. Safe area, we accidentally left our door wide open lol, mark that one down on vanlife-BINGO.
Report Check-InThis spot is directly underneath a large telephone tower. I've tried to use it twice & it's been occupied both times. The road in is pretty rough, although I managed to make it ok in my 2WD car by going very slow. Overall not really what I look for in a good BLM site.
Report Check-InQuick hike down amazing 270° view of the lake and surrounding areas. Spot is clean, foot traffic passing by on occasion to get down to the water and fish.
Report Check-InIn addition to the place mentioned under the power tower, there are several substantial pull outs along turntable bay road. Trailers NOT advised! Very small turnaround at end of road (turns into private railroad property) lovely views. Some spots shaded. Some with steep trails to waters edge.
