Not really a campsite, but fine to stay for a night. The place near the fence is just the end of a path and doesn't really have a view. It was too narrow to put out our RRT. We stayed next to the restaurant in between the trees and flowers. They opened a room for us to shower. You can stay for dinner if you like. We also stayed at Simba Lodge a few weeks later. And although they are not fully operational yet (almost there), we thought you get more value for money there.
Report Check-InNice lodge bordering the park that welcomes campers on a flat area next to the rooms. They gave us a room key to use the bathroom and shower. Jackie was very accommodating even though we were the only ones there and had not made a reservation. There’s a small waterhole just behind the fence to the park. We didn’t see animals but heard lions all night. There’s a restaurant and bar but we didn’t use them. We paid 1500 ksh per person.
