Description

Free with any National Parks (e.g. America the Beautiful) annual pass. Otherwise $10/day. There’s a machine on your left as you pull in.

It is a large gravel bank about 150 yards wide that slopes down to the water and wide open for camping. Getting level is a challenge higher up, but you can drive down to water where it’s more level. Sand is soft in places but stick to the gravel roads and you won’t get stuck. RVs of every shape and size able to fit anywhere.

Cell service very strong on ATT.

Report Check-In

Just arrived, seems to be a quiet place. Amazing views on the lake with Sunset

Report Check-In

Very simple, just a kind of day usar facilities with nowhere concrete to park. But it does say you can stay overnight indeed. We didn’t coz that night it was too windy.
There are 2 small toilets.

Report Check-In

There are designated campsites for tents with water faucets and fire rings and dispersed camping for anything motorized. It’s all on a slope, don’t drive to close to the water, a truck got stuck while I was there. Good T-mobile signal.

Report Check-In

Nice view. Appear to be a lot of spots near the water. We had 40mph winds sustained all night. Spoke to a local the next day who said the lake is notorious for its winds. Room for larger rigs, just get there before sunset to see where to park.
