Something not right?

Description

Random paved lot on a busy road. The parking lot was full of cars and CalTrans trucks during the day. Only my van and two other cars were there all night.

The lot has no signs indicating what the space is intended for. It also does not say no overnight parking. There are no trash cans, no water, and there is a lot of ongoing traffic from the nearby street.

However, it’s only an hour from Yosemite Valley and the adjoining cow pasture was blooming with lovely spring wildflowers and oak trees.

And full bar reception on Verizon so I got a few hours of work done. Also full bars T-Mobile and AT&T.

Latest Check-Ins

Stayed 1 night. 4 bars verizon. This place seems to be VERY busy all through the night w people coming & going. I think I was the only one who stayed. This is the only spot in the area so it was good in a pinch but not the most restful sleep.

well lit parking lot, very busy. I felt safe there but not super big rig friendly. we squeezed into a spot with a 25 ft skoolie. it was very busy in the morning, lots of cal fire and prisoner work crews meeting here before work for the day. I would stay again but only for one night at a time.

Great space, can be a little noisy with traffic from road. Think this is a park-n-ride lot.
