Looks like there is a loop when you first get here with a few sites, but more designed for tents or day use. Keep driving and there are at least two more stand-alone spots with ramadas, fire pits, bbq grills and picnic tables. Lake views and hiking trails nearby. Only day users here with us on a Wednesday afternoon.
Limited to no Visible (Verizon) service (my phone rang, but they could not hear me)
Free campsites spread apart nicely. Very quiet with starry skies. ATT has spotty service, but if we walk around outside, we can get LTE. Pretty lake with views of it from campsites. Fire rings, pavillions and picnic benches at sites. Pit privies. Great place to stay on our journey.
Report Check-InLoved this place. I got there after dark so couldn’t quite find the “official” campsites. Camped down by the lake in my van. Peace and quiet. Truly a boon dock experience. All I could hear were the fish jumping at night and birds in the morning. The next day some fishermen arrived and told me I was totally ok camped there even though it wasn’t really a campsite. So my recommendation is to camp down by the lack if you can.
