Free established campground. Only a few minutes walk to the gorgeous canyon but extremely cold. Plenty of room, lots of sites along the river with tables fire rings and pit toilets. Excellent spots

Nice, roomy place, 3 outhouses! A rockslide has currently closed the road at about km9.5, but a 4x4 can drive over it. It'll be cleared soon... the river is nice, cold and fresh. Very quiet this time of year.
Report Check-InWent just past the 19k mark and found a set of beautiful sites. It was accessible with my 2WD vehicle but seems like there are turnarounds and space for trailers.
Entrance was marked with white ribbon.
The area seems to also have many landslides on this road so be careful visiting during rain season.
Report Check-Inpositives:free, big spots away from crowds
negatives: located on high bank off river..if u wanna get water, it's a hike down to the wide but very shallow river not suitable for swimming or even dunking. the water levels are low and the rocks are slippery covered in algae.
looks like atv party spot. couple squatters there.
Report Check-InOnly 4 kms up the rough road instead of 10. Right on the Goat Rvr. Room for a dozen camps. Good signal.
Ok site, river acces not easy and long/rough road to it. Stopped at km 4 on this road, a lot better spots direct by the river.
