We ended up staying the entire day-and-night. Absolutely loved our time here it was quiet there were ducks. People came in-and-out feed the ducks, fishing , dumpster was picked up, porta potties for service while we were there. Other than that really no traffic coming in or out.. I must have been lucky because we did not receive any kind of smells from the oil.
Report Check-InRest area near Hobbs NM. It's actually a weigh station right at the border. There was a building that might have bathrooms but I did not check. I got there at 11pm and got 6 hrs good sleep. Nobody else there. It's right on the road but about 60 yds away if you park next to the field so fairly quiet.
