Right off the highway 15. Potable water spigot (water bottles only).
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
potable water spigot working. talked to staff to make sure it was ok. they said it's for water bottles only. they also recommend the rest stop a few miles up the road so I'll try that and post if it works out!
Report Check-InVisitor center is open daily. Bathrooms were working, not portable toilets. Water source was also working, although the staff seemed to imply that it can be hit or miss.
Report Check-InAs others mentioned, no running water in the center itself but in the parking lot there is porta potties and a pump thing for running water that IS potable and safe to drink.
Report Check-Instill out of service. No running water at all at visitor center. Portable toilets on-site.
Report Check-InStaff said the pipes bursted during construction so it’s out of order at the moment. I didn’t ask when / if they’ll fix it.
Report Check-InIt is a blue pipe that is located to the left when facing the visitor center.
It is at the start of the parking lot, not near the building.
Staff was super friendly and encouraged me to take whatever water I needed.
Pump for portable water works. I don’t think it’s intended to fill an RV tank. Smaller containers would probably be more appropriate.
Report Check-InA easy stop for potable water right off the highway. The pump is located on the north side of the parking lot.
Report Check-InWater spigot is here as described. Please note it does NOT have a hose bib, so we could not fill our water tank.
