This place was amazing. the views were great and there's a toilet and fire pits. no water though so be sure to bring your own. 20 minute dirt road to get there but wasn't so bad (I saw one person in a standard 2x4 hatchback). Few other people but the spots are quite far from each other

Very nice spot. Beautiful views. 20min dirt road, T-Mobile worked, had 2 bars. Definitely would come back! I did see a snake the first day but seemed harmless, just be careful with your pups

Great spot - went here in our Jeep Wrangler and had no issues. The road isn’t bad and we didn’t even need 4wheel drive, just high clearance. A good amount of spots to choose from. We went on a Friday night and there was a few others, but all very spaced out.

Long dirt road drive in with washouts but most vehicles will make it. WILDFLOWERS galore. The climb to the top is dirty and at times tight, there are steep drop offs but it’s well maintained due to towers up top. The views are spectacular. Windy at night. Some shooting going on. Maybe 10-15 spots spread out that I saw but it keeps going past the bathrooms. I drove a 25ft class c with a towed vehicle. Was one of my harder climbs but worth it. @explore_rlt

Lovely place to camp. Quiet, amazing, view. Also check out the campground (full for Easter break-only a few spaces) .5 km down the road which has covered picnic tables and very well spaced sites.

Wow.
A bit off the road but very quit spot. We were all alone. Please keep it clean and be respectful. It’s so hard to find great free place on the coast of California… this is a real Gem.

great spot with a view, 2 bars with AT&T, & fire pit

Can’t beat the prices; views so beautiful it feels illegal not to pay. Well marked drive, easily navigable in Jeep Wrangler. Gusty wind at sunset.

Report Check-In

excellent quiet spot with a gorgeous view once you get out here. It's a ways from the highway out a dirt road with lots of washboarding. I was the only one here and I only saw a handful of cars go by during the day

one of the best places I've camped in CA. lots of solitude. got cell service. enough space for a few people to camp in this particular area. remember to leave no trace and keep this spot beautiful.

Report Check-In

This spot is spectacular! There are multiple spots to choose from if you want some seclusion otherwise there is a free campground just up the road. It gets pretty windy but it's worth it for the views + seclusion! Great Verizon reception too! The road getting there is mostly a single lane dirt road, but we made it just fine in our 2WD Promaster (takes almost 20 minutes on the dirt road to get there).

Amazing views and good cell phone coverage.
