Another option in the Ranch BLM area. Nice individual spot with stone fire ring and a great view of mountains behind prairie. No cows today, but clear signs of them in the area. 2 bars Verizon LTE
Normal véhicule is ok. 2 tractions

Beautiful spot! I didn’t see any no camping signs along the dirt track into this spot or anywhere around this site. There is a sign on the fence across the road that says “no camping within 1/4 mile of water” but I think this spot by the mesquite tree is fine.
The spot is a large level ring around a big mesquite tree, plenty of space for multiple vehicles, big rigs or trailers. The road in was a little bumpy in places but fine for 2wd. I’d imagine it might be a little dodgy in the rain, though.

This site is super clean at the moment! Let’s keep it that way and pack out your trash!
Permanently closed. Don’t stay here. Sign says to not camp. Last time I stayed here us was utterly trashed. So not surprised
Report Check-InAmazing place for the sun set, alone, worth it to push after the first sites really
Report Check-InCampground was full, so we ended up here. Gorgeous! We had a coyote cross through the field behind us this morning. And the sunrise was beautiful. Very peaceful. Very few vehicles, look to probably be border patrol. And we've had a drone hoovering in this distance (way distance) behind us. What a great place to decompress and just enjoy nature. 5 bars Tmobile and out hotspot is picking up WiFi. Still slow though, but enough to stay in touch if needed. Roads are in great shape. Any vehicle and rig size can stay here.
Report Check-InWe first tried the sites marked to the north east from here. All full. Had this place to ourselves. Agree with all previous comment about this site. We think that the easiest access will be from 82. But if you come in from 83 be sure to go all the way North to Empire Ranch road. None of the others go through.4 bars of ATT
Report Check-InNice spot, 360 view, great sunrise and sunset. No shelter from wind or sun though.
