We were looking for a last minute place to stay for the night with electric and had about given up when we read about this place. We called 2 hours out and they had plenty of space, it was a slow weekend.
Our rv map app had us go down Blueberry Hill Way. Do NOT, stay on Clay Hills Road. There's no turn around if you turn on Blueberry.
This place is pretty and peaceful on their slow days. I'd love to come back for one of their events!
Lovely place. Very serene. If you come when theres no event you will get a lot of space and privacy.
Report Check-InBig Red and Joy run the place and are super cool people! We stayed 1 night in our Sprinter. Water and electric at each site. Nice, private flush toilets and showers. Very quiet at night. They are setting up for a weekend of concerts so we are going to head out today. If you’re into bluegrass or other music they have, highly recommend this place. Note: No longer Sertoma Youth Ranch, re-branded to Florida Sand Music Ranch phone: 352-754-3082. Call for reservations: we called in the morning and Joy saved us a spot…when we called at 5:30 to let them know we were in traffic and running behind, there were people there (we heard the conversations over the phone) they were turning away so call ahead for sure
Report Check-In15 dollar primitief camping. At the end of the camping on the big grass field. a lot of people who makes music. but it was quiet at night.
Report Check-InBeautiful park with lots of shade. 15 dollars primitief. Just a few RV's. Hot showers, clean toilet. Dumpstation also 5 dollar. All in donation box
Report Check-InGreat place! We attended a bluegrass festival over thanksgiving weekend snd it was a wonderful time! Will definitely be back! Clean, organized, inexpensive and great people.
Report Check-InCute little camp ground with shaded primitive camping and plenty of trees. $15/night includes a hot shower. Wasn’t able to stay the weekend due to an event, so check the calendar. Otherwise it seems like there’s some good trails near the entrance. Fire ring at sites.
Report Check-InPerfect place to camp just a few minutes off of the interstate. Honour system of payment when the office is closed, I arrived at 10 pm on a Saturday night drove into the primitive Camfield and set up my rooftop tent completely alone with no other people for over 100 m/300 feet.
The toilets are very clean, and all of the sites were clearly marked - except primitive, use their map on the website. Slightly more expensive if you require a normal site with electrical hook up, which is where most of the campers seem to be staying.
On this Saturday night there was a live bluegrass band are playing on the site, but I parked far enough away for it not to be too loud, and it was excellent to fall asleep by. Really quite an experience, and something that I absolutely do not expect but will talk about for days.
The camp is run as a charity for children, or something like that, so I rounded up the $15 one night rate to $20 and dropped the money into the little mail slot at the front door of the cabin on the way out of the side. I wish that all campsites could be this easy and convenient, I would probably sleeping less Walmart parking lot if so.

Report Check-InVery nice place! $15 per night for primitive camping which is pretty nicely dispersed! I can’t see anybody else from my site! Strong cellular coverage with both T-Mobile and Verizon. Some traffic noise from I-75; but it’s far enough away to be pretty quiet.
