A lovely site only 6 kilometres outside of Tacuarembo. There is informal camping along the lake shore and a formal campground up the hill; location marks informal camping. Some benches and grills, shade in afternoon. Also suitable for tents. Mostly quiet during the week, more busy on weekends. Further in is a second lake which is more quiet on weekends. No charge at both, formal and informal camping outside days of events. Water can be filled at campground, we received an unlocked WiFi signal with our extender. We ended up staying over a week...

Report Check-Inel sitio ideal para pasar unos días! se puede estacionar a orillas de la laguna, hay mesas, asadores, sombras, todo está súper limpio y cuidado, el ambiente es genial y por la noche es súper tranquilo, realmente es un paraíso para la vanlife! la zona de cerca de la escuela de colonias tiene wifi libre. un lugar bonito, tranquilo y seguro para parar si estás por la zona.
Report Check-InNice lake side camping, swimming is also allowed. Secured WIFI from Hotel Cabana Sepe on the other side of the lake. Ask for password. Toilets on the other side of the street, but they were closed at our stay or Dixi on the other campround up the hill.
Report Check-InDuring the week absolutely quiet. Nice place directly on the lake. Open wifi didn´t work. Maybe because out of season there was nearly nobody visiting the hotel. We made some nice hikes in the area. A little police station ist just on the other side of the lake watching the area.

Report Check-InLocal muito bonito. Ficamos com o artniC estacionado em frente à Colônia Escolar ao lado do departamento de Polícia. Tivemos acesso à água e energia elétrica e sinal de Wifi aberto. Ótimo local para descansar.
