Circular site next to a dirt road, off the road enough to minimize highway noise. Nothing too special, but safe and quiet for the night.
Near cell tower with good data speed (I have t-mobile)
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
This spot is great! Some pretty consistent road noise during the day but after dark it gets real quiet. Turn off the highway, cross the small wood bridge, spots are immediately on the left.
Report Check-InArrived here just at dusk; easy access from highway, just be careful going over short, narrow bridge. No other vehicles and totally dark. Large loop in huge field; we’re 300 yards from quiet hiway.
Report Check-InIt was perfect and such a beautiful place to watch the sunrise
Report Check-InSpent a quiet night here. Minimal road noise. Space for a couple smaller Rigs. Great Verizon service.
Report Check-InStill a good spot in 2023. Had no issues or visitors in the night, not even mice.
Report Check-InSeemed like the perfect spot at first. We were alone and the place was level and quiet. However during the night we heard scratching inside and outside the van, probably a mouse. There were definitely more than one around our van so we had to leave in the middle of the night. Probably just bad luck, other than that the spot was as described
Report Check-InJust a perfect place to spend the night. We were alone and it was very quiet, although you can hear the cars passing by.
Report Check-Inreally nice spot, very little noise from the highway and no trash. full service with Verizon hotspot and TMobile phones, I worked remotely and had multiple video calls with no problems.
Report Check-InVery handy, easy to drive into spot in my minivan. the main road is quiet a few hundred yards away. Flat, relatively clear ground, with room for a few vehicles. I saw a camper van towing a vehicle later in the evening pull in with ease. 5g T-Mobile signal, but oddly my SkyRoam couldn't find a provider to connect to. 🤔
Great spot for a night or two if you're crossing this plateau of sorts. Darn cold at night, tho, now in mid-January, as you might expect. My dog's water froze solid outside. Beautiful view of the stars. Worth a stop on a clear sky night just for that!
Quiet pull out on the southern side of the road. A bit of a sketchy looking bridge crossing is required (see photos). We crossed in our F250 towing our 33' trailer (nearly 9k lbs by itself). The turnaround area is snug but can be done and not terrible if you have a spotter to help. We didn't even need to do any leveling at all!
