This place is awesome. 20 min from Arches NP. Free lands to camp on. Fires allowed. Wide open spaces. I camped in winter with snow and it looked like something out of Dr. Seuss.

4wd only! The main plain to the road is deep sand and we got stuck. Towing company said people get stuck here all the time. 4wd's passed through with no issue while we were waiting for rescue
Report Check-InWide area with camp rings, clean out houses. Very sandy wash to cross. No problem with and without 4WD.
Report Check-InThis is part of Utahraptor State Park now. It is $15/night, you pay by scanning provided barcodes on signs once you get to camping areas past the cattle grids. We didn’t stay here but it seems similar to free BLM spots off I-70.
Report Check-InThis site is no longer free! It is Utahraptor State park and there is a $15 per night fee that can be paid online at parkpass.utah.gov or by cash/check in a fee box. There’s tons of spots, and though there were lots of campers, there is plenty of space between campsites and it was quiet. There are porta potties and fire rings at each site. Beautiful sunset and sunrise.
Report Check-InBumpy ride for the RV. Don't park near the dumpster, people are constantly driving by to throw out trash. Nice fire pit all around. Spotty cell service (AT&T and Verizon)
Report Check-Inopen camp area about 250 yards from the road. enjoyed it and close to canyonlands turn off. easy to find...look for historical marker sign on highway. go over the cattle grid to get to the open parking area
