As described. Can hear the road but not too bad. Good for an overnight. Flat and easily accessible from the highway.

Beautiful spot right off highway. Didn’t see much glass but there is some trash. Good for an overnight with a gorgeous sunset.

The lake was full of water and with the recent storms and not being from the area, I didn't know if the level was going to go up and it was quite close to the parking level. I also felt exposed as cars seem to arrive there from anywhere. There was also an insane amount of broken glass, which I minded because of my pup. With the San Simon AZ rest area and the beautiful spot on BLM just before, 15min from this spot, I trusted my gut feeling and spent 2 wonderful nights and a day at the BLM spot.

We stayed here in our 32 ft skoolie. We felt safe here overnight. It was a little loud, but got quieter as the night went on. Make sure to take exit 11 towards Animas.

Right off I-10, so we didn’t have to wander in the dark to find a place. Flat enough for our sprinter. There was a cop here. Nice guy. Said it was fine to overnight.

Great spot but just to clarify you need to exit I 10 at the Arimas exit and there was no water in the area shown on the photo . Otherwise quiet and felt safe. Another camper pulled in later in evening. Fair TMobile service , no antenna TV but we could stream from our hotspot

No water around but there are traces that it was once here. We were the only ones parked here. Had a fire in our portable fire pit. Got out the telescope and looked at stars. A beautiful sunset and sunrise.

Report Check-In

Nice place to spend the night. Some highway noise but not too bad.

The Shady Grove Truck Stop.

They do allow overnight parking. There are facilities, toilets, limited food options, but they are definitely open for vans and RVs. Nice folks. Quiet massive parking lot. Oh and there is no ‘grove’. Nor shade for that matter.

Report Check-In

Arrived at dawn and stayed for a night. No one bothered. There were a couples cars that pulled in for a few minutes but then left. Great Mountain View and on a lake (more like a puddle). Some highway noise as it’s right off the highway. Was the only vehicle there.
