Customs open from 8 am to 6 pm, easy passage. (Check online for updates).
Going into the USA: Most fresh produce (onions, bell peppers, tomatoes, etc), eggs and fresh or frozen poultry must be turned in (see picture of leaflet dated June 2022).
Travelers on a US visa get an I94 (non-resident tourist/business admission) for 180 days. If you stay at least 30 CONSECUTIVE days in Canada, you can get a new I94 for another 180 days.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.

Fairly easy crossing, no too busy. We didn't know about the fresh food and had to turn in our groceries bought in Cardston... And we visited Hyder, so we were admitted on our initial I94, which shortened our trip by a few months.
Report Check-InCheck hours online before coming. All signs indicate 7am-11pm, but they are closed today at 6pm. Had to stay in Canada for an extra day. Hours posted online seem to be correct.
