Large pull off on side of road with beautiful view of a the water and mountains as described.
VERY POPULAR fishing spot. I stayed here 2 nights no problem in my 26 ft pure RV but I didn't realized when I arrived that the best place to get the best view is also where everyone wants to fish...my bad
overall decent phone signal with t-mobile, no troubles. was alone first night and 2 van showed up second night. Nice place to kayak as well.

Report Check-InTrain goes through on other side of river and blows it's whistle 2-3 x. Not sure how often it travels through. Maybe every 3 hours? Not even sure there is a schedule. Haven't been here long enough to know. Doesn't seem terribly loud from this side of river. Hear the passing cars more as there is no barrier. But we are boondocking, aren't we.
Report Check-InNext to river and not hidden from road but about 50 - 70' away from road if next to river. It's a large dirt area, not sure what it's purpose is. One other old, maybe 28' RV settled in.
8/14 update: train doesn't run at night and it's not the river next to lot but a pond and the train tracks run between the pond and river. Night we slept there someone drove in and shined their headlights at us a few minutes then did it to the RV. Didn't do anything else but spooked RV enough to leave afterward leaving their car behind. RV returned next morning around 5:30a. No other incidents. We have a Econoline van.
We arrived and there was already a large RV and a car. We parked on the opposite side of the lot. We had the water and the mountain as our backdrop it was beautiful. The road is right beside the lot, so there is car noise. It got quieter as the night went on and just a few cars and trucks drove by not enough so we could not have a good night of sleep. When we got up, early morning, there was already fishermen around. This is August and the mosquitoes were plenty, had a fun time chasing them in the van before retiring for the night. This is not a secluded location but a great one to sleep, one or more nights.
Report Check-InQuite night and a cool view. Did have some people park right next to me to fish just before sunset. But once it was dark didn’t see or hear anyone
Report Check-InIf you have a self sustained vehicle then this place is a gem. Great Views and plenty of room to let the dog explore. Going on my second night here and it's gorgeous. No one bothered me on the first night. I'm counting on a quite second night here. No one seems to notice you out here since the closest rode from me it's about 1,500 feet and there speed limit is 40 mph. Super quiet all day!
Report Check-InI will update if any problem occurs but seems like a great place by the water to camp overnight with little traffic and great views of the mountains and the Connecticut river that divides N.H and Vermont. There's plenty of phone signal. No signs posted! Great for self sustain camper, seen there's no amenities here.
