Handfull of campsites along lentzville road adjacent to wheeler reservoir. 14 day stay limit, no amenities except for rock fire rings. Right off of a paved road with light/moderate traffic. should be accessible to class b RVs and smaller, turning around with a trailer would be difficult depending on the site. Little opportunity for direct sun for solar panels. Mediocre cell service.
Lots of trash but that's alabama innit.

Fabulous spot, I'm getting 90mbs down and 15 up on T-Mobile, looks like a fire was recently had. The occasional car driving by on the nearby road is no problem. The most upper site is trash free currently, love to see it!
Report Check-InNice spot. Can get close to the water. Seems to be enough room for two vans. Has a fire pit and trashcan. Can stay up to 14 days. Still had decent service with tmobile.
Report Check-InI got here a Sat around 5pm and the first site had a big tent set but this site was open. it seems like it can be used as a boat ramp or something since you can drive down to the water but I stayed higher up. It was a quiet night and cars stop driving by at night although picks back up around 6:00am. On Sunday morning a tow truck stopped on the road near me for a few seconds but then left.

Report Check-InFantastic! I passed at least two occupied campsites before pulling into this one. Just off the road, but the road isn’t heavily trafficked — you’re just as likely to hear boaters out on the reservoir as passing cars. Not exactly flat, but I got close enough without levelers to leave it for one night. Three bars TMobile 5G. If I didn’t have to keep moving I’d absolutely be staying another night!
