Not much more than a slightly wider part of the road near the very top of forest road 63 in Pisgah National Forest, but has great views and is outside of the Blue Ridge Parkway lands, so legal camping.
Quiet night, just 2 cars passed right before dark but otherwise had the area all to myself. Fit my van perfectly and is probably only good for self-contained vehicles. I drove up from the bottom of FR 63 without problems and the road should be good for any vehicle.
Barely functional verizon service at this spot.
