Good level site at trailhead. Some hikers during the day but quiet at night. Great star gazing! Limited cell service.

Great location. Several easy to access sites right off the highway. Drive up the main sand road towards the mountains for more remote camping. Great sunrise view. Large turnaround area near the top.
Just a few minutes from Borrego Springs. $10 will get you in the park for a hike, septic dump and fir a few tokens - a hot shower.
We stopped a little before the canyon, but found a beautiful, flat pull-out to camp at for two nights. A few cars drove by, but very private. Easily accessible in our 2WD Sprinter. The spots this far up are smaller than the ones close to the paved road so I wouldn’t recommend big rigs. Two bars LTE with ATT. No amenities. FREE!!!
