Bigelow Public Lands Trout Brook campground | Wild Camping

Got here at 4pm on a Wednesday (during peak leaf season to be fair) and all the sites were taken, including the several spots on the road leading up to this campground. Sweet little spot though! Keep in mind all the sites are right next to each other, so there’s very little privacy but it’s a beautiful area right on the water. Hoping to stay sometime in the future! We ended up finding a pull off further down the dirt road.

Campgrounds looks in good shape. Even with the lake up 3’ easy kayak Putin. Nice place to paddle with all the islands.

Very nice place to camp. It fills up pretty quick in the weekends. We stayed at the first spot you come to which was big enough we actually shared it with a local. Beautiful place very spotty service

Nice remote location with a lake and a small little beach with the best sunset view. Fire pits

great spot just me and one other camper van very quite night

dirt road down public land. fine for an camper can and rv but hit some bumpy spots nothing my van couldn't handle. I couldn't believe this place was free. established campsites right on the water.

This is the correct location of Trout Brook campground right on Flagstaff Lake. Lovely with pit toilet, multiple camping sites, and modest one-bar cell phone coverage.
