found this beautiful spot right on lake Michigan. I'm in a Roadtrek and I don't think a class A would be a good idea C should be fine. good signal, full moon once a month and can fit 5 comfortable 10 crowded. I picked up all the trash so you don't have too. also has a big concrete slab maybe 50x80
Definitely nothing larger than a 29’ C. As I bottomed out crossing the railway tracks

Passed through but didn't end up staying.
I arrived late at night looking for a place to sleep but felt too unsafe and sketchy. It looks like the locals don't want strangers here as there are road blocks on the main access road. The area is absolutely trashed, looks like people are dumping trash here. There were no other vehicles but it sounded like some folks were camping in the bushes nearby.
Could be a really beautiful stop on the lake but sadly hasn't been maintained.
Report Check-InCame as sunset was ending, there isn't a true road in, it's now barricaded off. But, you can still easily reach it, taking the dirt road beforehand on your left. This place is a bit tragic. Such beautiful sites with stunning views right on the lake. But, the whole area is covered in garbage, literally. Old mattresses and more. The road in is very lumpy, and was used by locals enjoying a ride in thier atvs. I made it fine in my sprinter. Although it was trashed, there was nothing through the night ( I stayed Labor Day Sunday) that was sketchy. Just locals quietly riding at some and swimming on the lake. It's worth checking out, but be weary. I saw the most amazing moonrise here and a lovely morning sunrise, too. I also add good service with Verizon.
Report Check-InCame by and didn't stay.
There was a pretty big puddle in the entrance that I didn't know how deep it is and what's inside. Decided to not take the chance. There were many people in a house infront the entrance to the site, very noisy, and felt sketchy for a solo female traveler who came close to sundown time. Also seemed pretty dirty. If I weren't alone I would have probably stayed.
It was so peaceful, I was the only one staying overnight but they were a few people there for a stroll:) I had a portable bathroom I just used right into nature:)
Report Check-InNeeded a place to relax so I came to check this one out. Not too bad of a spot, its actually pretty quiet out here on this rainy Thursday afternoon, but it’s really trashed out. Probably wouldn’t overnight here, but I will be coming here more often for the solitude during the day.
Report Check-InPulled in around 8:30 PM - the road was confusing to get there. Big lot with pot holes you needed to drive through. The spot was right on the lake and beautiful. A few other cars pulled in later. Woke up to see the sunrise and it was super peaceful.
At about 8:30 AM a cop car pulled through - I was up luckily and got in the driver seat to pull away but they stopped me and said it’s technically private property and directed me to go down the beach.
Report Check-InStayed the night, road had a lot of activity for being so hidden. Trash everywhere but a pretty view of the lake. This morning a woman honked outside my van and asked to buy a cigarette from me. And just now a man walked by naked and staring. I’m leaving the campsite as it seems very sketchy.
Report Check-InThe road blocks are to the straight road to lake. Go up to the left of the blocks on the left (see pic) and up the field of dirt towards the water. There’s a lot of garbage. And many spaces for smaller vehicles. And it’s gorgeous. Except the garbage. I’m here early enough to go somewhere else and I will. Get here and end up wanting to leave ? the folks at the gurney truck stop/shell gas have a big enough space to stay. And hot showers for $10.
Report Check-InYou can still access this place. There were other people there staying the night. People go there to fish so you will see people coming and going.
Not a place I would take kids as it is very dirty and has garage all over the place.
It was quiet tho.
Secret beach was blocked by cement roadblocks. We weren’t able to stay there.
Report Check-Incant get to this spot. road blocks in the way and peoples cars parked. doesn’t seem like this road is open anymore
Report Check-InWow what a amazing place RIGHT on the water. Lots of trash all around. Definitely will pick up a bag before leaving. Thank you for sharing this place
Report Check-InThe road leading back is currently plowed shut, so couldn’t get back to actually stay there. I’ll have to come back once all the snow is gone to check the spot out.
Report Check-Inok spot very hard to get into even for my g20 van. There are some concrete areas but does have a nice view of the lake. Area was kinda dirty but its free so can't wish for the stars.
