There are two rigs here tonight (including mine). This is nice to shield from wind and farther from the road. We hiked up to watch the sunset, which was an added bonus. Super quiet. It's clean here, let's keep it that way! Added photos.
Report Check-InThis is a really nice spot, with good privacy separate from the main parking. Beautiful place to wander around in the morning. As others said about the lot down the way, respect this place so we can continue to visit.
Report Check-InQuiet spot hidden from the trailhead parking lot. Great view over the valley. Arrived early afternoon, left at noon the next day, no issues. There were a few other campers.
Report Check-InSpent 2 nights here, Thursday and Friday, no other travellers stayed but a couple of dog walkers and hikers came and parked during my stay. Great place to camp though, nice and quiet, can't hear the road at all and sheltered from the wind we had. Can hike up to the top of the canyon for amazing views and back round to the hoodoos as well 👍
Report Check-Inarrived at 230am after getting kicked out of another place, one RV and one other car here. good places to pull over and really quiet. Sorry if I woke the other people up 😂
Report Check-Inquiet spot just out of view of the main parking lot for the hoodoos. far enough from the road the cars going by are bairly audible but close enough to the parking lot the outhouses are just a few minute walk away.
Report Check-InThis spot is much quieter and more hidden from the road.
