Simple but effective. Big wide open area on the side of a gravel road that appears to be just used by hunters and ATVs. Tons of space, mostly flat and very quiet. No facilities but modest Telus coverage. Works for us since the other options north of Sault Ste Marie were either right beside the highway and or closed.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Clearing as described, up the road past some logging facilities but didn’t see any activity during our visit, just two pickups heading further up the road. Access is good in a 2wd car, just watch for potholes. Some flat grassy areas for tenting too! Just a little bit of highway noise at night
Report Check-InLarge flat turn out in the logging road was perfect for a quiet sleep. A few Atvs came through as I was making coffee, but they just waved and kept on. The explosion of color oit the window was a beautiful “good morning”
The posted sign read “harmony river road” at the turn, but the gps was accurate.

nice open and level ground for car camping.
Report Check-InWide open space... there is an ATV trail leading into the forest if you wanna sneak away and camp. Bear spray is a must as scat is in the area.
Report Check-InStill a solid spot in the winter, plowed, though beware of logging trucks passing occasionally.
