Tavern „Old house. A little bit hidden, but a true gem of untouristy Bulgarian food and untouristy prices! The couple that runs the place speaks only Bulgarian, but the menu is available in English.
There is a mussels farm down at the sea, so that’s a good idea to order. A huge plate of fresh mussels is 4€ (8BGN). Other typical dishes like the Kavarma (meat and vegetables cooked slowly in a claypot) are one of the best we had in 3 months in Bulgaria.

Still a wow place! Fresh mussels from the mussels farm, traditional food, cheap and delicious. Quiet setting in a shady garden.
Report Check-InAn outstanding restaurant. Family run, all dishes are selfmade, freshly cooked and with local spices. Absolutely delicious and highly recommended. Either you order traditional food, like kavarma, or local sea food. At the end you must try the typical local joghurt with homemade marmelade.
I have been there twice and will revisit the place whenever I am around.
