Lots of pull outs in the area. Views of mono lake and the surrounding mountains. Solid Verizon signal. Running stream by some pullouts. Extremely high winds might keep you from sleeping.
DO NOT STAY HERE — extremely brutal, violent winds. We stayed on a night with no storm, just a regular night, and the winds exceeded 40MPH. Our Sprinter van was violently shaking and rocking with loud, deep howling. We did not sleep a wink but it was too windy to drive this road in the dark. Do not sleep here, move on down the road away from the lake for a less windy spot. The caution sign “high winds” is right; this is next level.

Report Check-InNice flat pull out. Easy to find from main road. Some highway noise but minimal. Not the most picturesque but good for a stop for the night.
Report Check-InThis was a nice spot to sleep at night. It’s tucked way from the main road. It has beautiful mountain views and is a very flat spot. My only complaint is that it is very windy. The main road has a sign stating that this area is windy.
