we loved this spot! a few 'permenant' campers by the showers/water who are friendly. We parked up at about 4pm and set up the tent, there were a few other groups further down the river. at about 9pm a few drinking groups were using the tables and for campfires but they cleared off later in the evening. we felt comfortable enough to leave the tent and wander into the town in the evening and there were no problems.

Very nice place, you can park 3m away from the river, lots of shade and benches, some locals were camping there as well and the night was very quiet

Nice tree shaded. Or open space. Not that close to the river. End of june on a wednesday, a few visitors. Quiet and peaceful. Almost quiet. At 9 pm music and singing started. At midnight begin of July first, it was dead quiet for 5 minutes and than the music and singing went on till 3 am. But no one bothered us and everybody left us in peace. Chapeau!!

Free campsite at the river. Locals camp and picknick here as well. If you have a smaller car you fit under the trees and csn use benches and barbecues.
Big rigs can stay in the green
