Sign that says limit your stay to 2 hours. We stayed about 6 or 7, no trouble, but just so you know. It’s a smaller rest area but the views are incredible. Bathroom is decent, vending machine, picnic tables, dog potty area.
Report Check-InWe first went to Frenchmen Coulee east of Columbia River but it got too windy in the middle of night and came to this rest area away from the wind. We parked on the truck side, which is right by the freeway. It’s very noisy from the freeway traffic and the truck running engines.
Report Check-InThere are signs now that say: please limit your stay to two hours. Not sure if it is enforced.
Report Check-InGreat place to stay for the night. Receded from the highway so hardly any noise from there (we were on the Eastbound rest area).
Trucks were coming in and out all through the night - some kept their motors running. Wasn’t too bad with the windows closed…
Report Check-InQuite and clean rest area, a bit further from highway so you don’t see it. Some traffic in the evening but was no traffic at night. None bothered us throughout the night and we stayed almost 12 hours. Nice hike up the service road to power lines, to stretch out the legs.
Report Check-InNice quiet rest stop off i90. Overnight camping is allowed at Washington interstate rest areas, with an 8 hour stay limit. Not sure if they entire that. I stayed about 12 hours. Restrooms are clean. No dump station or potable water. The location has lots of parking for both cars and larger rigs.
Report Check-InYour standard Rest Area. Good restrooms. No signs restricting overnight parking. No time limit on parking. Nobody bothered us. Area for pets. Dark parking available. While near the freeway it wasn’t that loud.
