Description

Total gem! Perfect, especially if you like to fish! 2 second walk to Salmon River. Designated FREE campsites with fire pits and picnic tables and pit toilets. Lots of tree cover. Just off highway, but no road noise. We even heard an owl last night. 10 days max. 2 bars LTE on AT&T.

If you read the boards, there’s a neighbor dog that may greet you...especially if you have a dog too!

Great spot for a night. Clean pit toilet, quiet except for the rain and the sound of the river. No neighbor dog visit this time.

great winter spot. looks like 2 other people might be living here currently but they didn't bother us. there are some neighbor dogs that came over to play with our dog. the parking lot was a sheet of ice so be careful during the winter. pit toilet too.

Recommend using google maps as Apple Maps brought us to the wrong place. Very nice place peaceful and quiet. Only two other campers here. A little bit of construction going on in the nearby area. Three campsites with a table and fire pit.

Just like the description says. We just needed a quick place to stay off the highway and this was just that. Also, a plus for us that there’s a toilet!

Down a dirt road off US 93 past a private property. Area has a wee bit of traffic sounds but the birds singing overhead make it all worth while. 2 other camper groups here today but a distance away.
