Beautiful spot for a quick fall foliage getaway. Pretty much as others have detailed (glad there are no jet skis in October!😁). Only thing I would add is that there is a picturesque trail just across the bridge in the Kootenai Wildlife Refuge (Deep Creek Trail).

here for 1 night. quiet. enough room for 5th to turn around. only 1 bar on gFi. convenient only 1-2 miles off the mail drag.

Mostly quiet on a Friday night. Got here around 7 and ended up being the only party sleeping out here. As others said, right on the water and has a pit toilet. Sounded like some teenagers who sped in and hung out for a bit before leaving. Also heard a few trains in the distance starting around 8:45. Can hear cars driving past the area, but it’s not too loud. Larger rigs can definitely find a spot. It’s not a huge space, but on an October weekend, there’s ample room and a few picnic tables. An ok stay for one night. Had 2 ATT 5G bars

Stopped in for one night. Great location right on the river. Fishing, paddleboarding, bird watching and hiking trails nearby. No generators after 8pm. Very quiet but starts to fill for day use after 10am, lots of jet skis. Fit our 40 ft Super C no problem.

Nice spot right on the water. We parked our campervan alongside one of the picnic tables. Nicest and cleanest pit toilets ever!

three overnight parking spots. some road noise. The river was beautiful and fisherman came down to the river early in the morning. they were quiet and did not disturb sleepers. there is a nature trail over the bridge and is well worth strolling through in the springtime to hear the goslings.

Beautiful spot on the river. Gets a bit busy at times. People coming in to fish. And some come to get drunk and shoot their guns randomly. Wtf. But other than that great spot. Best for van or RV, but there are some reasonable spots for tents as well. Also, great cell service (I'm on t-mobile but I'm guessing the others work well here too as it's close to town).

Great spot. Quiet. Good Cell. Room for big rigs.

Free, 4 picnic tables and flat areas to set up a tent if needed. Large flat area near the dock for larger RVs.

beautiful location right on the kootenai river. we put our paddle boards in here and went 3/4 of a mile up the river into the wildlife refuge period had to turn around because of low water would be much better earlier in the season. we then paddled up to Bonners ferry and back. some car noise from the road nearby and train noise from far away. some interesting local characters spending the night here the second night . overall a great place recommended and I'll be back if in the area.
