Just a place to stay for one night if you don't want to go further anymore. From Ruta 40 a short road leads to kind of parking lot at the river. Only two trees, barely shade, no wind protection (we had no wind), visible from the road, not quite. For tents: it's a rocky ground.
Edit: There are 2 bus stops, as well. A bigger one with fireplace close to the road. A smaller one on the flat area.

Better to go “by the road”. This place is nice but really near the road for us and not very friendly in comparaison to the other place 😜
Report Check-InGreat site, flat spots, next to small flowing river. Super quiet, little distant traffic. We felt safe and slept like babies. We came from chilecito which was terribly noisy and this was a relief! No signal here with Movistar
Report Check-InThe red building is locked up. The river is dry. But the building has working wi-fi!
Report Check-InWe stayed like said before, 50 meters ahead on the left side.
Just left from the futebol field, there are some trees with tables and benches, we went a little ahead behind some bushes.
Very quiet, hidden from the road.
We stayed in our camper, for tents might be a little rocky and very thin sand.
Fantastic sunrise but arrived some workers to do something close to us.
Also had a police car by the crossing between the two roads that is about 70 meters away.
The river was dry when I passed here in May. Additional to the flat area for camping along the river, there are 2 bus stops. One is along the road. it is fairly big and new, it has a fireplace. another one(smaller) is on the flat area for parking/camping. the bus stops should provide good wind and weather shelter. it might be a bit noisy when you sleep in the one near the road because of the traffic.
Report Check-InWhen heading north, when you pull off the highway you can drive to the left under the bridge. We drove for about 50m and camped there for the night. A little less exposed from the highway. The riverbed was completely dry when we were there so it was easy. No one bothered us at night, and two vehicles drove past who waved.
