Description

*Overnight parking/camping is NOT permitted at this location.
.....
Small pull-off on Cape Lookout Rd, but with room to tuck in.
Close to Cape Lookout State Park and the trailhead. NF land, no signs stating no parking. Very little traffic, no one bothered us. If you pull in far enough, folks probably wouldn't even notice you here. Very quiet as well.
Also close to the dunes if you're into that.
Spacious enough for two or more vehicles or trailer or large rig.
No signal for AT&T. Shaded, so don't expect to feed solar.
Pack in and pack out, keep it clean :-)

Report Check-In

not possible, muddy, small, finished, no boondocking places or no overnight signs

Report Check-In

No more place to boondock because the road will be larger and it s on construction.

Report Check-In

Handy little pull in that fit a longer sprinter, close to road but a bit hidden by curve of the road and foliage

Report Check-In

its gone. Can't camp there anymore. super sucks! not a lot of camping around here

Report Check-In

We passed by this spot, it is still good to camp for a night. No signs are visible for no parking. However, NO camping is permitted in the state park and they made it very obvious. The areas surrounding are not nomad friendly. Very rural.
