Open parking area right on the water. Perfect for sunsets. Super windy the day we were here. Lots of room for many vehicles, we had one more car overnight with us. There is a house further along though. They have a yellow gate and didn’t seem to mind we were here. Few people drove by in the morning.

amazing spot. there's a rock area right before the yellow gate that gives you a great view of the sunset. it's also a great place to see how dramatic the tide changes are. you are safe to park there on high tide during August.
Report Check-Inwe were all alone, only a deer on the beach around 10pm!!! perfect!
nous étions complément seul, sauf lors de la visite d'un chevreuil vers 22h sur la plage!!
Report Check-InWild camping on the beach with parking for cars. We set up a tent. If you arrive at low tide remember the water will be rising so set your tent up at the top of the beach. We swam, but it’s cool water. Intended to paddle board in the cove but forgot to pack the pump. Lots of driftwood for campfires. Another tent was set up when we arrived further down the beach on a hill by the tree line. The cottage owner was in and out (gated) but didn’t seem phased that people were using the beach area as the cottage has its own private shore front area. Watch for glass in the parking and on the beach. Some graffiti on the shore rocks. Not much nearby but it’s a small touristy island in the summer so lots of take out food, veggie stand, art galleries and small shops.
Report Check-Inarrived at 6:45 p.m., found two other vehicles here. one left immediately, and one vehicle left after the person was done looking for periwinkles. Beautiful setting, caught the sunset, extremely quiet. looking forward to a quiet night.
Report Check-InHad a quiet night here. One car was parked up near the gate to the house until about midnight, then left. Next morning two other cars came by, unlocked gate and drove up to the house behind the gate. None of these cars stopped to say anything to me, didn’t seem to mind me there. Note, though: it rained really hard overnight and the dirt/gravel lot got very mushy and I had difficulty getting out. Beware heavy rains when here. Otherwise peaceful and quite lovely.
