*Overnight camping/parking is NOT permitted at this location.
.....
No signs indicating that you can not stay overnight, very large parking lot, stayed one night when I arrived late. Another truck/camper also stayed in lot overnight. Highway noise is a bit loud as it is near the #5 HWY where semi-trucks must gear down to enter the traffic circle. There were also picnic tables and wifi, toilets, etc. at the Wells Gray info centre during business hours.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
DO NOT CAMP HERE. DO NOT SLEEP IN YOUR CAR HERE. There are over 100 free campsites in the Clearwater area, if you sleep here everybody who live and work nearby think you're an asshole.
Report Check-InNice parking lot with spots for long vehicles. Grass with picnic tables. Noisy through the night. Arrives 8pm with 2 other cars in the lot. People started arriving at 8am. Visitors Center opens at 9am. Several places to eat and ice cream nearby.
Report Check-InParked overnight on 19July2022. Didn’t see any signs not allowing overnight parking. Left at 7.30 am after spending a night of restful sleep. As with other feedback on this place, is close to 5S so expect some engine noise as truckers slow down for roundabout.
