This is the best campsite we’ve visited for a very long time! Splendid hosts. Gorgeous views. Great cycling and walking routes. Hot water shower. Good facilities. We spent three nights and loved every minute. Well worth the drive off the main road go spend a while, unwind and do some laundry! 10/10

The campsite and the farm are a dream.
We found a large lappa with a huge table and benches, a pretty bath and a jetty leading into the water, inviting us to take a dip.
One boy of the staff lights the fire in the donkey so that we have hot water for showering and washing up and he even lights a campfire for us in the evening.
A few kilometres from the farmhouses, we sit comfortably on the farm's own teak chairs around the campfire and enjoy the sunsets.
The frogs croak us to sleep in the evening.
There is nothing left to be desired, so we decide to stay 4 nights!
The lake is a dam whose water is also used to irrigate the fields. The huge farm is used for both agriculture and livestock farming.
Linde and Hugo, the former owners, now retired and very keen on travelling in their unique Toyota Landcruiser, visit us at the lake. They want to travel to Angola, so we can pass on some of our knowledge and we are happy to get some tips from them.
A nice, pleasant meeting.

Super camping spot over the lake. 1h-1h30 of OK offroad from the T2 highway. They lighted showers and fire for us. The farm is giant, we went for a 12-km run and was only in one part of the farm. We also went swimming.

Oh also, DONT take the road from Mpulo even though it looks the best one on the map, most of its in bad condition!! Contact Dehan on whatsapp for the best route to take at current or look on the maps on photos.

What a lovely peaceful spot. It's far off the main road, and quite remote but it's well worth it. Beautiful private campsite right on a dam with amazing sunrises and sunsets. You can fish, swim, go for walks. Facilities are great there's a huge Lapa with long table for shelter and cooking, ablutions are great with donkey heated hot shower and big sink outside also with hot water. Washing line, solar lights, and also a lot of firewood. The lovely caretaker peter will come and light the fires in the evening. Hugo, Dehan and everyone are really lovely and helpful. $10pppn , well worth it.

See the directions to the farm in photos. There are three options. We recommend this map as Google Maps does not work well in our area.

Really peaceful and beautiful little camp, right on the shore of a lake. All new and well looked after. Donkey boiler for the ablutions - fire pit - braai - shelter etc..
Space for a couple of campers, but apparently they have never had a double booking, so usually you have the camp to yourself which is perfect for a couple of nights.
Price is now $10pppn and well worth it.

Use this map to the campsite. This road is better.

What a stunning place! We stayed here for three nights and enjoyed this hidden gem on the way to Kasanka NP. Watch a group of Kingfisher hunting in front of you, listen to the Fisheagle, go fishing, walking or just use the hammock and relax. 8 USD pppn incl hot water and firewood. We will come back for sure. Absolute Recommendation.

Still the best and most beautiful campsite in Zambia. Well worth the drive. The lake is full and the sunsets spectacular. Good fishing and nice hot showers. This is our 5th visit here but definitely not the last.

A corner of paradise all to yourself. Great time and Hugo and Lindy from One & Only are great hosts, lots to talk about.

Beautiful campsite at the dam, surrounded by natural forest. We pitched our tent under the thatched roof after enjoying the company of the farmer and his wife around tbe campfire which they lit for us. The ablusions are well maintained as the owners themselves enjoy relaxing there. Running water close to the site and hot shower (donkey). Birdlovers paradise! We took a hike through the forest early morning and enjoyed it so much that we booked in again on our way back! Being campers themselves, Hugo and Linde gave us valuable advise with the planning of our tour through Zambia. $8pppn.
